We had a wonderful late lunch there today and it was Awesome. I had Shrimp and Grits my husband had grilled blackened sword fish , Mac and cheese
We shared the fried green tomato salad . Everything was lovely. The best food we have had on the Island since we got here and we’ve ate at quite a few of the restaurants recommended in the tourist guide books. We had ate here few years ago and loved it , but forgot the name then I ran across it this morning. I recognized the place from a pic online and we took off!
It was amazing! Don’t be looking for a real fancy place but expect some awesome food!!

I cant really say enough good things. The decor is unique it is very much like a backyard in the country it reminded me of nights spent in my hometown with friends. When I'm on vacation I like to get food you can't get anywhere else and this place fits the bill. Everything is made in house from scratch and the care in preparation is noticeable. I had the crab cakes they were delicious, the perfect texture and had a unique flavor. My wife ordered the fried green tomatoes and my boys ordered the shrimp and grits and the meatloaf. All the dishes were excellent and well portioned. We each shared what we ordered and I think everyone liked everything. The waitress was attentive and was knowledgeable about the menu, she made the perfect recommendations. The deserts are also delicious try the banana pudding it is exceptional.

Couldn't have asked for a better place.

Everything from the feel of the place, which, yes, it feels like a backyard, to the service to, most importantly, the food. The pimento cheese starter and shrimp and grits were perfectly done. Server was attentive without being a hovercraft. Highly recommend.

Service was more than personable! Food was a good representation of Southern cuisine and reasonably priced. It was clean, food was brought out in a very reasonable time. The decor is very shabby chic, the only negative comment I would make is that the lighting is poor, I had a hard time reading the menu, but the server helped me out there. Well worth the trip!

It was good just not great. For the price it could have been better. It was a nice relaxed atmosphere that was nice. The grits were good but the shrimp was very small in size and two of us had I was where they forgot to take off the shrimp shell. The banana pudding was nothing special along with the key lime pie.
