Fancy Sushi (Hilton Head Island)

Very good food, friendly staff, and very good family memories!

Good sushi reasonably priced. Don't let the appearance fool you.

I've gone to this place many times, and though there was a period of two trips there, where lt wasn't so great. This last time was probably the best their food had ever tasted. If you like Asian food, give this place a try!

Went here last night for dinner. First time in after living on the island 6 years ago. I can honestly say I'm shocked at how quiet it was on a Saturday night. The strip mall it's located in is very quiet itself, and could use some updating by the property management company, but don't let that fool you about this place. Great, traditional Japanese decor. And a very small, but extremely friendly staff, which that night included a young lady pulling double duty as hostess and waitress, and a young man who was the Sushi Chef.
I ordered my old standard of Chef's Choice 8 piece meal, and my wife did a California Roll and a crunchy roll. The chef delivered our food personally, and pointed out which fish he used in my order, and he made my wife's crunchy roll into a work of art.
Needless to say, it was delicious! I really hope this place gets more recognition soon, not sure what happened there since we left, but believe me, this is one great place to eat! We'll be back again soon!

Food was delicious. Service was wonderful. My 5 year old dropped his plate in the floor; they made him a whole new plate at no charge. They gave our table a complimentary appetizer as well as a complimentary dessert. Never had to ask for refills. Our party ordered both sushi and hibachi. If we can fit it in, we want to go back before we leave.
