A restaurant with a relaxed ambience in a beautiful setting under old Oak trees. This was not our 1st visit. Tonight, I had the blackened grouper, which was moist and perfectly cooked. My wife had the fried flounder and crispy fries. The food quality and flavors were great. The service was friendly and efficient.
Had an excellent dinner here tonight, the “Fresh catch” was a Mahi that was possibly the best prepared we’ve had (and we’ve had Mahi from Hawaii to Florida), it had a great “wood fire/charcoal” exterior, the seared scallops were awesome, as well. Dinner for 2 with drinks was $75, we’ve paid $200 for that meal elsewhere, well done! The rear patio is great with fans mounted all around to keep the air moving. No idea why there aren’t more Google reviews of this place, by the way.
Prices were reasonable. The food was excellent. I had the baked flounder with crab stuffing for $18.
Food was great, staff was friendly (shout out to our waitress, Amy!), and the atmosphere was authentic.
We sat inside, which was nice, but if we get the chance to go back, we will definitely request one of the tables out back to watch the sunset and feel the evening breeze.
My husband and father-in-law are all about the "boils." They ordered the shrimp boil and the crab boil and raved about their meals. I am not much of a seafood eater, but I loved the crab-stuffed flounder! And while we didn't have room for dessert, all of the desserts sounded phenomenal.
