Local Pie Woodfired Pizza

Above and beyond service! Our server was so helpful. My niece and I both have some dietary restrictions. Our server was super helpful and when I ordered a dish that I didn't realize was prepared a different way than I normally see it and came with some issues with my dietary restrictions, he immediately replaced it with something else with no charge. The pizza is delicious and some of the best I've ever had in my life. Definitely check this place out!

Unfortunately this one fell short. We wanted to try a new spot (for us) and tried to order carryout over the phone. However, even after several tries, the phone kept rolling to voicemail. So, I drove over anyway. The restaurant was half empty and it didn't seem like pizza was flying out for delivery. When I asked the manager about the phone issue, the response was we are really busy (??). No real apology, just an excuse. The toppings were good quality, but pretty skimpy. The crust was average - certainly not what I expected from a wood fired pizza. Inside was casual. Parking was not an issue.

As a local on the island, I frequently stop at Local Pie. Born and raised in NYC I can honestly say that their pies are not only terrific but can compete with the best of them! I also like to patronize establishments that support the community. Local Pie was instrumental in the success of the annual Camp Leo, a week where blind kids come to the island from all over the state of South Carolina for a fun filled adventure taking advantage of all the activities and great food that Hilton Head is famous for.

Ordered it to the hotel. Very courteous phone conversation. Prompt delivery (came before delivery time suggested). Food was PHENOMENAL. Fabulous pizza ( regular 16 in cheese, 16 in roasted chicken with mushroom????????????). Ceaser salad dressing was DELICIOUS. Overall would completely reorder/recommend.????????

This is a great restaurant on many levels. The food is very local (as per the name) and really high quality. At the same time it is somehow reasonably priced. The staff is really friendly, the decor is clean and comfortable and they are very environmentally aware in how they operate the business. They deliver pizzas in a Nissan Leaf EV!
