Best Italian restaurant experience! Food was amazing and service was awesome. Many thanks to Ned for his excellent service and advice. We will be back!
I was really impressed with this restaurant. From making a reservation to our server Alex-who was wonderful and the food was outstanding. The best food I’ve had on the Island. The dishes were well prepared, the different flavors combined expertly, and presented beautifully. I definitely recommend this spot. I actually think this is the best food I’ve had. Alex made the whole experience very enjoyable!
This is one of my favorite restaurants on Hilton Head. However this last visit was not quite up to par. The service was great. The atmosphere was great. The muscles were tiny and just not up to par. Otherwise I would have given it five stars.
Amazing Italian restaurant with a very good selection of wines. The homemade ravioli are out of this world, with a true homemade sauce, perfectly balanced and full of Mediterranean flavor. I also had the Mediterranean Sea Bass over capers, olives and roasted tomatoes and it was delicious. My wife had the scallops with spinach. They were cooked to perfection and the combination worked really well.
The place is not as priced as I was expecting especially compared to the quality of the food and service of this restaurant.
I'd definitely come back for more.
Very good upscale Italian restaurant. Both the food and service were great. Our party of 3 all ordered from the extensive list of daily specials. The Halibut (served over carmelized onions) and Salmon (over asparagus) were memorable, as was the Ricotta and spinach Ravioli. They have an extensive wine list featuring many Italian, as well as other fine wines.
If you are looking for basic Italian (spaghetti, lasagna, pizza, etc.), Ombra Cucina may not be for you. It is also a bit loud on a busy night. We had a moderately priced bottle of wine, an appetizer, and 3 entrees and the bill, with 20% tip, topped out around $200. None the less, we had an excellent meal and overall experience.
