San Miguel's Mexican

We had a great time. Or wakes was great even tho we had 2 people in our group that had special eating restrictions. The staff never complained!

Delicious food but staff were spread thin. Everyone in my party of 6 enjoyed their meals! I've had better salsa, but my sirloin chimi was excellent. Poor Hannah, our server, was waiting on a million tables. She was extremely friendly but with 2 hostesses at the stand, somebody could have been helping her a little. She earned every penny of her tip. Great job, Hannah!

So.... We had high hopes for this place when we decided on a dinner spot for the family. When we arrived, very limited parking, which seems pretty typical in this area. We got lucky and found a spot up front, but I recall people making comments about their groups having a substantial walk due to limited parking. When we arrived, it was very busy which seemed like a good sign. We were seated very quickly despite the crowd, which was very nice. We sat outside and there was live music etc... it was pretty festive from what i could tell. The service was decent (not bad but not great). The food was less than desirable, which was disappointing considering the price point. There are too many Mexican themed restaurants to miss on the food. Not likely to visit this place again. Maybe it was an off night for the cook... I don't think we'll ever know. Good luck!

Salsa was great, refreshing and not spicy. Food and service was great. Family said their refried beans were the best they ever had. They stated they were nice and Smokey. Delicious overall and glad we found this place on our visit. We will be back!
