The Lucky Rooster Kitchen and Bar

We went to the brand new lucky rooster on Forest Beach Dr and met Tony, the host, who gave us a free sample of the soft serves and we absolutely fell in love with the atmosphere and the food! Micah is the cook there and the genius behind these food concoctions. We loved this place so much that we will probably put it on our annual vacation list. Absolutely loved the coconut shrimp po boy and the pork belly steamed buns! You have got to get the peach cobbler swirl soft serve! It’s absolutely fantastic and a perfect blend of two fantastic soft serves that they do!

My husband and I wanted to experience a local, non chain restaurant so we asked a local couple out on the street. They pointed us here and you did not disappoint. We chose our waitress Leslie’s recommendations of the catch of the day. It was wonderful!

Foodies must try this! Great selection of food with a creative twist. Located steps away from the beach Lucky Rooster has an inviting atmosphere for a quick service restaurant. Kids will be happy too as they have popular kids meals and good desserts. Service was awesome and they have inside and outside seating depending on the weather.

Deviled egg appetizer, wonderful! Butter bean hummus appetizer, divine. Staff burger is burger heaven. Be sure to get it well done. Trust me, it will not dry out! Their side veggies are so good that a couple could stand alone as veggie dinner. Husband had trout and grits. He almost wept with delight. Service was great. Be sure to get reservations. We ate there on a Sunday, the bar and booths were packed. Dining room almost full. It may be our new favourite place in Hilton Head.
