“Based on all the wonderful reviews, we decided to try this pizza this past Monday night. The place was packed and we waited at least 30 minutes for a booth, and then, at least another 30 for our food. We were told the wait would be much longer if we opted to order takeout. The server was nice, but they were clearly not prepared for the amount of customers they were dealing with. Several people walked out. We ordered two gluten free and two regular pies. The sauce was extremely salty. The pizza is incredible where we live up north, so maybe our expectations were set too high. If you are looking for Southern New England type pizza, this just isn’t it. The dough and sauce are just no where near the same. My two boys did not finish a large, and that is highly unusual.”

“One of the best Italian dishes I've ever had. We had 15 people and everyone loved what they had. I really can't speak much higher about the experience. Service was top notch too, my drink never got lower than half gone without being asked for a refill. “Unbelievable restaurant, very friendly staff with a beautiful setting. Very clean outdoor patio with ceiling fans for a comfortable breeze. great photo ops. The food was spot on with robust flavors. We had a late lunch, therefore we ordered appetizers and drinks. Lime shrimp, red and yellow beets with crusted goat cheese, and lobster nachos. All 3 were presented well and all delicious. Definitely coming back. Hats off to the staff for such great service with a very friendly atmosphere. Priced very fairly for the quality and quantity. Very happy we found Ela's.”

“Scotts is located on the waterfront in a busy touristy area. The atmosphere is very pleasant. And the service was good. The food was what you would expect for a place that lives on its location and doesn't feel a need to impress you with the food. It was edible but far from good. The fries were soggy, the tacos were served in cold tortillas, and the pulled pork was barely 'OK'.”

“Fun little donut shop an Uber driver suggested to visit while we are on vacation. Cool to see the donut making process while waiting for your order. Yummy and fresh donuts. Only reason I’m giving 4 stars is the fact that there is only one table available inside. There seemed to be room on the other side of the wall for 1-2 small tables? Just stinks if it’s a normal hot day and you planned to sit inside. Luckily there are near by restaurants and benches where you can sit outside.”

The first night we tried to get in and the hostess looked at me like I was crazy showing up without a reservation. Made one and came back 3 days later. My only criticism would be cleanliness. There was dirt and dust an inch thick under the stairwell in the center of the restaurant! Not appetizing. Made me wonder if the floors are ever mopped because I don't see how you could miss that.”

They use white tablecloths which is a nice touch, and the white rectangular and square plates appeared clean and new. if you are visiting Hilton Head Island this is a fun, local place to eat. (Better than a chain restaurant) This restaurant has been at this location for a long time, and the only thing that might be off-putting is the exterior and interior appearance. But I can overlook the appearance because the food is excellent and the staff is very nice and the service is great.”

“We went to the brand new lucky rooster on Forest Beach Dr and met Tony, the host, who gave us a free sample of the soft serves and we absolutely fell in love with the atmosphere and the food! Micah is the cook there and the genius behind these food concoctions. We loved this place so much that we will probably put it on our annual vacation list. Absolutely loved the coconut shrimp po boy and the pork belly steamed buns! You have got to get the peach cobbler swirl soft serve! It’s absolutely fantastic and a perfect blend of two fantastic soft serves that they do!”

“It was astonishing. My meal was delicious. My family's meals were also great. Paired with some of the kindest people, this makes an amazing first impression of Hilton Head. We loved it. If I had to nitpick I would say they could have done better with the lighting, it was a bit dark for my taste. I would rate it a 4.9 out of 5 because everything else was great. We will hopefully visit soon for another delicious meal. All I can say is, come and try the great food. P.S. Ignore some 1 star reviews as some of them have rated 2 restuarants including this one. Rating this restaurant lower than the other to promote that restaurant. These reviews are most likely fake and are probably made by the competing restaurant staff or friends of the staff.”
