Mac Daddy's Restaurant

Tried the ribeye and it was really good! The mashed potatoes were not, they were the instant bland potatoes. Go with the baked potato for sure. The salad was small but pretty fresh so not bad. Service was good. Girl was sweet and attentive. Had some family that tried the gator bites and really liked em.

Good Food. Service can be sketchy, but food is good. Younger waitress we had was awesome. The other spent the entire time complaining about having to work instead of eating her fruit loopy whatever she was trying to eat and was very disrespectful. We got one 8 oz cup of coffee and she never came back to refill.

We love Mac Daddy's, the atmosphere is great, clean restaurant, or sit on the porch overlooking the canal. The staff is all very friendly. The only down side is if they are crowded, it is a very long wait on food as they cook to order. My suggestion during those times is for them to let people know this and maybe have some kind of chips, dip, hushpuppies to place on the table to help with the wait.

So...full disclosure...we typically go to this restaurant as a way to end a long fishing bought. We are tired, weathered and cranky. This is our pit stop before and after a long day of fishing to stock supplies and energy for a marathon night of more fishing. Beer, bait and food...and any tackle that we may need. Best breakfast on the bottom lake. Very convenient and large dock parallel to the canal. It should be noted that this restaurant is a component of Canal Lake Fish Camp. The facility has most everything that a one would need from a fish camp. Fair pricing. Definitely friendly. Large shaded area to clean fish.
