Warm and friendly atmosphere. Café feel with booths, tables and seating at the counter. Seat yourself.

Great food and you can always get breakfast! Very nice staff and the seats are recycled church pews. Good place for family dining.

Good food, good service, laid back. Been enjoying Alex's restaurants for 30 yrs. And reasonable prices.

This is my first time in here. It reminds me of a Jersey diner but the food is truly Southern. They serve breakfast all day!! Outside of breakfast, the menu reminds me of what my mom would make for dinner though the week. Simple meals but delicious. Today I had fried founder, fried green tomatoes, and string beans. The meals come with Texas toast or cornbread bu I passed because I doubled up on the fried food but it was SO GOOD!!
The portions are generous. I appreciate the "Little Alex" menu. It's not a kid's menu but allows people to order smaller portions at a reduced price. My regular meal was $9.98 and $6.98 with the smaller portion. I have leftovers and I'm too full for the delicious looking dessert.
There is plenty of parking and it's a good place for families with children. You can eat in, take out, and call ahead. The staff is very friendly. I'll definitely be back. :????

It was very good. They were extremely busy but they were serving customers quickly. Always good food. Never had a bad plate of food from Alex's.
