Sapphires Sports Bar and Grill

The atmosphere was fun and we were welcomed right away. The music was good and not loud. I had the best Buffalo chicken wrap. I ordered fries with it and I had it tossed in the medium wing sauce. Whew. It was spicy but very flavorful and then the heat was calmed with ranch dressing. We had traveled a lot that day and it was a great place to end our day.

This is another place where the outside could deceive you. But I'm here to tell you don't fall for it! The food was better than we expected. The waitress was engaging, and the ambience was very nice. I've been looking for a good rueben around here for sometime, and the one they have here is very good. We will be going back!

The food is wonderful. But the service wasn't. The restaurant was less than half occupied. We sat for 15 minutes before the waitress bought out our menus and took a drink order. We ordered food, it's always great here, but our drinks sat empty for so long, a person in our party of three grabbed our glasses and walked them to the bar to get refilled. I'm never one to go negative, but the customer service killed the ambience and experience of the meal. I could see it differently if the place had been packed, but it certainly was not on a Tuesday evening. I'll go back, of course, but I really hope the staffing and service improve.

Pro: Easy parking. Outside seating. Good food for a dive bar.

Con: "Good Food" is dependent on *IF* you get served, which can be very iffy. First time I went I was only able to get 2 beers in 2 hours with a meal despite being only half full. Second time I was able to get 3, again in two hours. No Taps.

Another absolute favorite spot of mine and honestly, I can't decide whether I like this place more or less than Heroes. Top notch location and very friendly staff. Food always looks amazing, but sadly the times I've gone I've been between meals. Amazing amount of parking and a fair amount of room inside. Outdoor seating for the nice days which is a great plus!
