TJ's BBQ & Burgers

1st time here and happy to say not bad! I cannot recommend the brisket though (to thin and overcooked) but the pulled chicken was probably one of the best (the mustard sauce compliments it very well!), baked beans, mac-n-cheese, and the potato salad were very good. Looking forward to going back.

Nice guy that runs this place. Very friendly and works hard to make customers happy. Good burger and salad. Onion rings are excellent.

Order was for pickup. Great customer service, Steve is awesome - and we don't drink so it's not about bartending. Cheerful, courteous and attentive. As for BBQ, it was okay to good. Some items, like the ribs & smoked chicken wings were a bit dry. Not all but it seemed like fresher items were mixed with older items. Could use a deeper smoke flavor and definitely salt. Looking for the smoke ring and just didn't see it. Not being critical but I have had better from TJ's. Hopefully, they're not pre-cooking prior to smoking. I only say this because I know they can do better, and better is always best, especially when you have knowledge, equipment and talent.
