Capy's Italian Restaurant

Over all the food was very good. The house salad is by far my favorite version anywhere.
The presentation of f the food has a lot to be desired. My lunch meal was served on one plate. Meaning my salad and my pasta were sharing one dinner size plate. Portions were small to say the least. I’d been fine with the portions but I really didn’t like my cold salad against my hot pasta entree. That turned me off to really ever wanting to go back at this point.
Also no bread or crackers or anything to nibble on. Not very Italian at all.
I felt also that the staff were still getting the feel of things so I’ll give them some slack there. Some improvements needed but it’s definitely not the worst service I’ve ever had.
I had the shrimp fettuccine plate. The flavors was very good.
Atmosphere was that of a dinner with a lot of dark moody colors.
Not sure if I’ll return but over all I’d recommend it for an eatery in my limited area.

We've been so excited to try this place. It for sure lived up to our expectations and then some! It's a quaint little restaurant with a welcoming yet romantic at the same time. The bread with the oil was better than any Italian bread or breadstick I've ever had. I don't know what's in it, but it is amazing. Highly recommend the Arancini and the Steak with cacio e Pepe. Our table also had the chicken Parm, spaghetti bolognese, salads, tomato soup, meatballs, and kids pizza. EVERYTHING was fresh and absolutely delicious! (Unfortunately, any photos taken were after digging in.) Definitely give this place a try.

We came to try out this new Italian restaurant on Valentine’s Day. The wait was expected but ended up shorter than anticipated. Bread and olive oil/herbs was immediately served. The waitstaff was absolutely commendable and on point. As was the food! The appetizer came out very quickly (calamari….so very delicious) and drinks were served. Our salads and entrees were equally brought out so very fast during a busy evening. Our server never missed a beat (i.e. empty water glass or wine glass) and handled the busyness of the place in stride. My husband and I cannot wait to come back again and are hopeful to see the extended menu come alive. Great job so far Capy brothers!! ♥️ 💯

So happy to have a new place for dinner in Moncks Corner! Even better that it’s delicious Italian food!! Loved everything about Capy’s!! The friendly, family atmosphere and the amazing food are what will make us return very soon! Can’t wait to see this place thrive in the future!!!

WOW! Went to Capy’s on Saturday night after hearing the buzz around this new restaurant opening up and it absolutely blew away every expectation that I had! The atmosphere is amazing, the staff was incredibly friendly but the food completely stole the show! We started off with salads, the house salad is so light and fresh, I believe the Italian dressing was made in house which was such a nice touch! We got the fettuccine alfredo and spaghetti and meatballs as our entrees so we could try each one and I truly cannot decide which one I liked best, they were both so delicious! I highly recommend giving them a try if you are in the area! Lots of parking, great beer and wine selection, family friendly, amazing food!
