El Maguey

One of the BEST Mexican restaurants in the Charleston area! Food is amazing! Our service there has always been very good. Food is excellent and the portions are big. My wife and I try to eat here as much as possible, with or with out the kids.... Lol

No pretense, just good TEX-MEX food...clean, friendly...and a bar!

Really nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is really good and the prices are reasonable.

This place is nice. I was greeted and seated promptly. They have a large menu selection. I got the burrito la band era with steak. It was very good. The chips and salsa were good. They gave me a small cup of hot and a small cup of mild salsa. The mild tasted like tomato past but the hot salsa has an awesome flavor and did not singe the nerves in my mouth. The bill came out to $15. It was worth it.

After bugging my husband to death for the past few weeks, he finally took me here.
We were greeted warmly and seated promptly. The ambiance was nice. The food was delicious! The only thing I did frown upon was the waitress's snarky attitude when I'd asked for a "top off" my drink. However, since it is Christmas and I'm in a festive mood, I still tipped decent. Usually if I receive a snarky attitude or comment, etc I won't leave a tip or leave a poor tip.

Other than that, my husband and I enjoyed our meal.

Will probably return.
