Agaves Cantina

After the usual McDonald's, Dunkin, Buffalo Wild Wings, etc. national chains coming in to the Cane Bay/Nexton community, we've finally got a winner in Agaves Cantina!! There is nothing about this restaurant that I can't give 5 Stars to. Ambiance inside & outside on covered patio very Spanish/Mexican. Food for the four adults in our party was a big step above the usual Mexican restaurant. Service was very friendly & attentive, with the manager also stopping by our table. Great bar, with seating for it both inside & out. Prices very reasonable. Heaters kicked on, on the patio as the sun began to set. Even the bathrooms are classy. Highly recommend. Don't change a thing.

When I visited I arrived about 5 on a Sunday evening, and there were plenty of seats. However, by the time I left it was getting very crowded at 6:30. I ordered the Agave fajitas which was a mixture of chicken, beef, pork, shrimp, and sausage. The portion was enormous. I brought home plenty and will probably have two meals from that. The black beans were very good as was the guacamole salad. I did not get the rice or the tortillas that come with it.

Very fresh food and great prices. Great new addition to Cane Bay! We'll be back again and again. If you like spice, try the jalapeno margarita. It's delicious!

Second day open, and they’re jamming. I ordered carry out: one burrito and one fajita quesadilla. The man at the greeting stand was professional, attentive and friendly. The food was ready in 12 minutes. I thought that was really fast, because the restaurant was at full capacity with folks waiting The food was incredibly tasty, had plenty of chicken, and had great texture. We will definitely be taking out from them again.
