Absolutely unbelievable fried chicken sandwiches! Can't ask for better comfort food, and especially for what they charge! Hands down the most reasonably priced restaurant in this category! You cannot possibly go wrong eating here! Highly highly recommended! Chick-fil-A has nothing on these guys!!!

Boxcar Betty's is a delicious place for fresh chicken made with wholesome ingredients and very tasty sides. I always get the boxcar when I am in town, but I have never seen my niece eat chicken tenders so fast! Following it up with a pecan pie in a cup is recommended if you ask me!

This is a solid place to eat if you have a hankering for some chicken. I had their grilled chicken sandwich. It was pretty good. The sweet potato fries were pretty tasty, as well. The atmosphere was very relaxed here and the seating was pretty comfortable. It's worth a shot.

The Chicken is outstanding. We went there for lunch I had the sweet Chili's sauce an my wife had the bacon jam on hers on her chicken sandwich. Which by the way more proportion very nicely we both got a small fry and I can tell you we're done to protection with the right amount of seasoning to them. My wife and I could have split a small so the small is really not that small. Why were you eating gentleman came out and asked us if we'd like a refill on are very good tasting sweet tea we both said yes he came back promptly with a refill asked if if there was anything else he could do. We said no asked if he was the owner and he said he was. Very nice guy you could tell he takes a lot of pride in what he does. We told him it was the first time that we'd ever gone there and that we thought the food was outstanding and the bacon jam was phenomenal.. we both agreed that this is definitely a do over again and again and again. Thumbs up to you at boxcar Betty for outstanding job.

Hormone free, locally sourced chicken sandwiches. The chicken comes fried or grilled. Fresh ingredients. The sandwiches comes in three standard options Boxcar, Not so waffle, or Buffalo. You can also build your own. I ordered the Boxcar fried chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. The sandwich was quite soggy but super tasty. The sweet potato fries were too sweet for me.
I didn't really know what to expect when I walked in. The parking lot was very tight with minimal parking space. It looks rather run down on the outside. The interior is no frills with minimal decor. Each table had a small jar with fresh rosemary. The employees taking and delivering orders were very friendly and helpful.
The overall experience was okay. I may return to try the Not so Waffle sandwich. The ingredients sounded fascinating.
