Daps Breakfast & Imbibe

We had an awesome experience eating here. The food was good but the service really set it apart. Tessa was a wonderful waitress and went above and beyond to make our experience great. If more servers were like her, I would never had a complaint at a restaurant. We will definitely be back.

I am so glad I found this little breakfast place! It’s a little off the traditional beaten path but well worth the adventure to find it. It is a first come first serve restaurant that serves amazing breakfast. We went on Mother’s Day morning around 10am and the place was already pretty busy. Early birds most certainly get the good seats. And these folks are a tad aggressive when it comes to securing a seat for themselves. Luckily my child and I were able to squeeze in at the high top. We ordered the pancakes and were super happy with them. I want to go back and try the breakfast sandwiches as those looked delightful. The staff was pretty friendly and the service was ok. Took a while for our food to come but it was packed so I understood. I’ll certainly be visiting again. Add this to my growing list of favorites in Charleston.

Fantastic place. Comfortable. Local feel. Great staff. Really felt at home the second I walked in. Would recommend to anyone. Especially if you need some alcohol with your breakfast and you're tired of the traditional bloody mary...

An breath of fresh air in the Charleston food scene. A welcoming entry, greeted with a wonderful smile, great energy, and amazing menu! The fruity pebble pancake is out of this world delicious, fluffy, and will take you back to being a kid and drinking the fruity pebble cereal milk.
Well done to all hands and congrats on making a year in biz and keep doing what you’re doing!

Nice breakfast. Omelette was tasty. Coffee was pretty good. Decor was interesting as this is inside a former garage, which I believe added to the excessive noise as the building was designed with a ceiling to handle "people" noise (talking, etc). It was very busy when we visited, which likely contributed to the noise. There were people waiting for seating, which clearly indicates the popularity of Daps to locals and visitors.
