Malagón, Mercado y Tapería

We had a very tasty, intimate dinner here. Service was wonderful and helpful with wine and food suggestions. Goat cheese cheesecake was a unique and delicious dessert! Will definitely be going back!

Food was pretty good. Our server was nice and was knowledgable about the menu and recommended some great wine. Music was loud though and we were shouting to speak. Seemed like they turned it up even later in the night. They also weren't accommodating at all. They offer Iberico, but only sell it as 2.2oz and they charge $50 for the serving. 1oz is plenty for 2 people and would be much more reasonable at $25 but they were not willing to accommodate which was a shame. There were other simple requests that were refused as well.

Had an incredible lunch here with a friend just before my flight last year to Portugal. Delightful tapas and wine. Mouthwatering fresh sourdough with which to mop it all up. I must get back with my family!

A coworker told me that this may be the best food downtown so I gave it a shot. Bring friends so you can order more. This is the place to have conversations over food. Lamb, Squid, mushroom, potatoes, everything was marvelous. Service was prompt and friendly. My wine glass stayed full. This is a place that I know we'll have try every item the menu has to offer. Flawlessly done. For those of you concerned about Covid protocol, this place is clean, masked and safe

Nice atmosphere that brings me back to some of the small eateries we’ve visited in Madrid. However the dishes were just eh - fine but nothing spectacular. They could definitely use a better selection of aperitifs and a bit more thought put into their patio area. Enjoyed our meal but probably won’t be a spot we return to with the many options in the city.
