My husband, two friends, and I went here for a breakfast on Friday, July 5. We arrived at just the right time because we only had a 5-10 minute wait, but several parties arrived during our short break. The location is very nice because nearly every table had a nice water view. The food is decent, though our one friend ordered the shrimp and grits and should have asked for the gravy on the side. My husband loves the cream cake dish, so that's the only thing he's every gotten there, and he was happy with it again. The service was a bit in the slow side, but we like the place enough that we'll definitely return.
Great view! I had fried fish. It was pretty good. This is one of the oldest restaurants in Charleston. It opened in the 60's. The service was great! This is a good place to watch the boats come in. Go through the Harbor gate and take a ticket. They validate. You can get souvenir tee shirts here. The entryway is a pretty steep set of stairs. I put up a picture, so you can decide for yourself. Downstairs is the bar.
Hidden gem of a restaurant right next to Marina. Breakfast was perfect. Waitress was real friendly welcomed us to Charleston. If Charleston didn't have such amazing food everywhere I would have eaten here even more. For breakfast I had the crab Benedict and country fried steak. Both were done perfect. Grits are something i haven't explored much but they were good here!
We enjoyed being next to this restaurant on The Mega Dock on Dragon's Lair! Can't wait to be back!
The view was magnificent. Staff very friendly and helpful in choosing the best food. Shrimp oysters and flounder were fresh and delicious. Crab dip was a bit bland. Over all one of my favorites.
Food and service were great! My husband had a well-seasoned, juicy burger with fries. I ordered the fried shrimp platter. Portions are generous and the shrimp was fresh with a perfectly crunchy, seasoned breading which was not too spicy as is often the case at restaurants. Collard greens and the delicious baked potato salad were perfect sides. Food came out quickly, especially for a busy Saturday night.
