Prohibition

I would recommend that everyone visiting Charleston check out this place! The food was spot on, the service was spectacular and the atmosphere sealed the deal. I had the catch of the day which was grouper. I think it was grouper belly because the fat ratio was out of this world!!! My husband had the shrimp and grits and easily declared it the best he's had since we've been here. I really feel like the service was absolutely the best we've seen. Do yourself a solid and have a meal here!!!

Service was great. Twice now here, Bar is roomy and fantastic. Outside patio is enjoyable for sunny day brunch. The charcuterie board was great with interesting assortments. During brunch, the avocado toast, eggs Benny and chicken & biscuits were top notch. Various drinks were tasty. Will always be a favorite spot to come day or night.

Amazing service! Tasty food! This place is wonderful! I will absolutely be back! They have Buffalo Trace Bourbon! Really nice vibe to the atmosphere they created! Very laid back! A nice place to grab some seafood or a burger and some drinks with some friends! I can't wait to take the wife! Their 7oz Angus burger is so tasty and the onion ring adds just the right amount of crunch that you didn't know you needed!

Prohibition was a wonderful bar with a very relaxed and cool theme and vibe. The bartenders all dressed the part which was also fun. We only had drinks, but the food looked and smelled amazing. They have a broad whiskey selection with crafted cocktails spanning two indoor bars and what looked to be a third bar outside. Our bartender Jessica was very friendly and attentive.

My friend, Mary, and I had not tried Prohibition yet so we decided to try out their happy hour menu. We were greeted by two hostesses at the door who were very welcoming, sweet, and engaging, they immediately set up a good vibe. We ate on the patio which was very nice and had heaters if needed. Our server, Morgan was also very nice and continued sharing a good vibe. We ordered all the items on the happy hour menu and each were outstanding, there was nothing basic about any of them, each had a unique flavor!! They were so good we almost ordered them a second time but decided to order a burger off the regular menu that was amazing! Chris, we assume was the manager, came out and asked us if we would like the heaters on and how our dinner, again, another super pleasant friendly staff member. We highly recommend dining at Prohibition!!!
