Three Little Birds Cafe

A little hole-in-the-wall tucked away, but the best breakfast we had in Charleston. The food was simple but delicious, service was excellent. Coffee selection was a bit basic but still tasty, and they had a wide variety of juices and smoothies. And, perhaps best of all, their prices were most reasonable.

This is a quaint little location with a lot to offer. I would probably love the place if they didn't charge 6 dollars for a normal, regular average, nothing-added bowl of grits. Seems rather greedy to our family. We get better food value at the other area breakfast restaurants we have tried. Otherwise, not a bad experience.

Great food and wonderful staff. Dog friendly. They gave my pup a water bowl immediately and then showered him with pets and cuddles. I was visiting from out of town but if I lived in SC I would frequent this spot.

Cute little restaurant with great coffee and brunch items. I ordered the black bean Benedict with a side of grits and had great texture and mix of flavors. I also tasted the peanut butter banana french toast, and it was very tasty but way too big for one person!

3 stars is only for the food! The food itself was great!!
The service was not so great! We went on a Sunday morning, and they appeared to be busy. We put our name on the list and waited patiently...everyone that came in after us was seated and the list was empty when the hostess looked at me and asked my name. She stated someone had marked our name out and she was sorry. She said she would give us a discount on our food because of the mix up, and said it would just be another minute. 15 minutes later we got sat. We ordered as soon as the waitress visited our table. It took a good minute for the food to come out. We had to ASK for the bill. I only ate half of my stuffed French toast, because it was so much. She THEN told me...”hey, next time your traveling by, we offer a half order of the stuffed French toast.” My response was immediately “that would have been nice to know.” The menu did not state that was an option, and neither did she when I was ordering!! When she brought the bill she said I took care of your drinks for the mixup. (We had WATER and a glass of coffee) ????????????????‍♀️ I just didn’t say a word, and we walked out????????
