Such a great experience with family. Forest is very talented as well as knowledgeable on Charleston History and Charleston food. What a great combination. The guest on this tour are treated very special - this is a must do while in Charleston. We look forward to this experience again with friends and family.
Excellent trip! Been on several good tours in Charleston and non were close to this. Forrest was very accommodating and maintained COVID precautions safely. The food was incredible!
We visited Chef Forrest as a bachelorette activity for a group of 5 girls this past weekend. We couldn’t say enough great things! He was incredibly knowledge about Charleston, it’s history, the food scene etc. After the walking tour we went back to the bistro where he cooked up some amazing traditional southern food for a 3 course meal. He turned me into a fan of grits, and the braised brisket is absolutely to die for (I had 2 servings ??♀️) and finished with an incredible dessert. We loved it and would go back in a heart beat.
The walking tour was very interesting. Chef was engaging, knowledgeable, and witty. Lunch well exceeded our expectations. It was a great combination of food/crop history, cooking lesson/demonstration, and delicious dishes with perfect wine pairings! We highly recommend!
Chef is super knowledgeable and shares many important details of the city! It was so interesting and informational. Then, he has an exceptional way of intertwining the walking tour and food experience. Every detail is carefully thought through. I would highly recommend!!
