Good food although it was a limited menu. Very attentive staff and very pleasant. I was pleased and will be excited to go back in the future. They have a nice outdoor space so it would be very entertaining during the warmer weather even though they do have heaters outside.

We were delighted at Xiao Bao Biscuit's creative culinary options and cool, upbeat atmosphere. I am grateful that we went as a group of 4 so we could try so many of the unique dishes and share them around. My favorite was the Okonomiyaki, which was crispy and saucy and so much better than I could have imagined. I know the menu rotates, so I won't suggest other specific dishes but can say with confidence we loved everything we tried. Next time I'm in Charleston, I'm headed straight back to this little gem!

This place is a 10! Been to Asia and lived in NYC so I know good Asian food. This place is unbeatable especially in the Charleston area. Great food, nice service, casual environment. The dumplings and black bean fried chicken are musts!

Wow. We came ready for a big lunch. Ordered the dumplings and really should have left after that, the flavor, the texture, the aroma, just a perfect dish.
The rest of the meal was better but that's a story for another day, we left so incredibly full and happy, it's an absolute must stop in Charleston.
So happy we made the time to visit. And it's a really pleasant walk, it seems super safe.

Wow wow wow. Absolute flavor explosion. Everything sounded so good but I was alone and really struggling to choose. I finally gave up and ordered 5 items. I'm so glad I did. I just lived in the leftovers for 3 days.

Look, I'm from Portland, OR where Asian Fusion is like a religion. It's really hard for me to get impressed when I travel. But Xiao Bao not only did it - it was some of the best Asian Fusion I've ever had.

I got the Cabbage Pancakes, the Papaya Salad, Blackened Pork, Dumplings, and Beef/Green Bean Larb. Everything rocked but if I was going to only order two, I'd go dumplings and pancake.

Good drinks too, and sweet, fun staff. Definitely a must-hit for any adventurous eaters in Charleston.
