Gilligan's Seafood Restaurant-Johns Island

Its the fried seafood you want. Great service, but the guy at the bar was being rude to his servers for asking about the drinks for her table. I watched him cuss her out after she waited for about a minute and a half while he was fooling around with his phone. Still good food and excellent service (from the waitstaff, screw that guy at the bar).

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! We go on vacation to Kiawah Island every year and we go to Gilligan's every year. They have the BEST fried shrimp! The hush puppies, cheese grits and fried okra are all great too. I recommend checking it out if you are in the area.

Other than my crab dip appetizer being cold(they did take it back and heated) the food was delicious, my waitress was pleasant and it's very nice atmosphere. If you want a date night or family night it's the place to go. Great food choices and specials. Drinks are great too.

One Charleston's oldest seafood restaurants. It's many years since I have been to the Johns Island location. Pleasantly surprised. It has been renovated and it has open beach feel. The food was still wonderful. I had the fried shrimp and fried oysters. For an appetizer we had mozzarella cubes which is a play on the usually sticks. They were delicious.
