Best breakfast in Mount Pleasant. This restaurant has a great breakfast selection and all of the items I have tried are excellent. Staff is super accommodating and attentive. My only negative is that I wish they opened earlier. But don’t let that stop you from visiting. You too will love it. Highly recommend.
I greatly enjoyed my first-time experience at Another Broken Egg. I came for breakfast. I was greeted and seated quickly. I had the Skinny Omelet, English muffin, and fruit. I was skeptical about trying goat-cheese, but it was actually really good!!! Many firsts today on the visit, and I was highly satisfied! Nicole took really good care of me!! I will definitely be back!! Thanks for great service!!
The food is really good (and well priced) and their beverages are awesome. However, every time we go, there's always decently long wait even when there are SEVERAL/a lot tables with no one sitting in them. I waited to write my review and visit several times to see if it was a one-time thing but, the wait vs. open tables situation seems to be a consistent problem, regardless of the time when we arrive. The waitresses seem nice but, always seem a bit understaffed; some waitresses I see helping tables that are not their own. If the service wasn't this sluggish and they fixed whatever is going on with wait times, I'd give a higher rating. I have waited every single time (and we have gone multiple times at different times of day) and the wait time is anywhere between 30 minutes to 2 hours. If you don't mind the wait, I would recommend going as the food really is tasty, well-priced and really good. Their raspberry tea is amazing. Worth the wait? I'll leave that decision up to you.
The food was good (really good!) but the service was lacking, mostly due to waiting and having to flag our waitress down a few times.
We spent about 30 minutes waiting (last time, over an hour) and then another 50 waiting on food (for two). And to add to it, we (and it looked like others) got our check with the food, which was just plain weird, as if they were trying to rush us out. Judging from the reactions of the waitresses and hostess, it seems to be a known issue. I'm not sure if they are under staffed, or just slow.
Apart from the service, the food was great, I can't complain about that. The bacon chorizo omelette was delicious, and I'll order it again when we come back. We also had the omelette with lobster, which was just as good - both are definitely worth it - and I can't complain about the price.
It was decent but a little pricey for what we got. My husband got the chicken and biscuits with gravy and he got one rinky dink chicken finger on it (it looked more like a chicken fry!) with a small amount of gravy. Now they are generous on their pancake portions and those were good. I mean it's not bad, but there are much better breakfast spots in town. I personally liked that they listed calorie content on their menu.
