Rivertowne Public House

Food is simply amazing. The Place itself is beautiful.

My boyfriend and I were VERY surprised at how amazing our food was tonight! The pricing was great for the quality. The service was top notch as well, thanks to Rachel! Highly recommend this place. Try the steak!

The food was delicious and the staff was exceptionally warm, welcoming, attentive and friendly. It has a large bar area without the bar area encroaching on the tables, and it is definitely family-friendly. I can’t say enough good things about Rivertowne Public House!

Pros:
- French dip
- poutine
- Manager is very kind
- great atmosphere

Some things that could be better:
- smoked Mac n cheese is too smokey
- fish and chips has too much batter on the fish and needs better seasoning
- calamari batter very heavy
- some pizzas lacking flavor and get that oven chalk on the bottom

I think if you guys work on perfecting the recipes more by working with seasoning and balancing the heavier/greasier dishes, this place would rock! I’ve lived a lot of places and eaten all over the world. You have a good start, but make sure to do a lot of taste testing to improve recipes. Good luck! I’ll keep coming back to see how recipes improve :)
