“As an experienced tourist in the Charleston area, I was surprised to have just discovered this somewhat of a hidden treasure. It’s located right beside the Ace Hardware in Shem Creek. It is very small with no indoor seating...just a perfect little hotdog stand, with a few bar stools to accommodate guests that can’t wait to eat. We were totally those guests! The food is delicious. The hotdogs are great but so are the other menu items. I also ordered a turkey melt, and everything was fully flavorful. You can tell that the ingredients were fresh. The tomato was juicy and tasty. We definitely recommend giving this place a try! My 1 year old ate his hotdog quicker than me, my husband, and 4 year old daughter ate ours! ????”

“We came in with the family for brunch last Sunday. We had a total of 12 at the table and they gave us exceptional service. The food was awesome and the portions were surprisingly large. One of the plates was not to my sister's satisfaction and management took care of it immediately. She was given a salad while she waited on a new plate and meal was taken off of bill. The table was given donuts at end of meal also. That's how you do customer service.”

“It’s American style Mexican food and I really enjoyed it. They do not serve complimentary chips and salsa but the food is very good. The portions are large and prices are very fair. Service was great and the food came out very prompt. The flavors were good but if you are looking for and American take on Mexican food this is the place. They have a pool table on the second floor and stay open pretty late if you are looking to hang out. This place is also great for families!! The staff was very polite and on point with service. I would def come back!!”

“Wasn't overly impressed. Our server basically ignored us. Kept forgetting my beer but remembered the 3 tables around us. Wife never got water refill. Didn't get our appetizer until after the meal (they comped it so there's that, but it was cold and sucked). The chicken was good but nothing to rave about. It was far more expensive than far better places, in my opinion, but it was crowded so maybe it was just my table, or a bunch of people just have money to blow on a sorta good time and some sorta good food. “Went there yesterday for lunch. Parking is always a hassle in the shopping center they are located in, but I found a place. I also expected a long line to place my order, but was surprised when I arrived as I was only the fifth person in line. Well, looks can be deceiving and it surely was there because for an extended amount of time there was no one present to take our order. Various people in line also wondered when the person taking the order would return. Finally, he did and took our orders. I didn't see anyone in a rush to get things out. They were busy, but I didn't see a whole lot of effort to get food out to the customers. The sandwich, the Driller, was delivered to my table quickly. It was hot, fresh and very tasty. Overall, I think the food is good, and a tad bit overpriced. When I paid ($12.54 for the sandwich and drink, nothing else), I wasn't thanked for my business or offered a receipt. I'll go back, but I won't hurry back.”
