“Our Friday night visit May 3rd 2019. We had a party of 5 and were told by the hostess we would have a 20 minute wait to be seated. We all were looking around and noticed there were plenty of seating; the tables just needed to be cleaned. Out of nowhere comes China. China cleaned 8 to 10 tables to have all waiting (complaining customers) seated. She even told the hostess to wait a minute and had him to come help clear the tables that were available so they could seat people instead of keep giving waiting times. She's the type of person all restaurants need. She hustled to get everyone seated and was very polite. I do know some people get nerves during busy periods, but China did an awesome job of calming things down. She doesn't panic under pressure. I use to work in a restaurant business and did management for over 10 years. You guys are blessed to have her on your team. I think she would be a super manager. She took care of so many last night. I just had to give a great review. After we were seated We had an awesome waitress name Kerri (? On the spelling) She was awesome and the food was great. We all were grateful.”

“Raising Cane's has continued to be a surprise entry into the chicken restaurant genre in the Charleston area. When I first saw the news that they were coming, my first thought was " how could there possibly be room for another chicken outlet?" They are a pleasant surprise. The menu is chicken strips, and only chicken strips. When RC first started, the strips came out blazing hot and the heat could only be put out by copious amounts of dipping sauce. I finally found that they have honey mustard which is great and I find the Cane's sauce too tart. My wife, however, loves it. Different strokes I guess. A couple days ago we returned after quite a break. No reason except that the opportunity just hadn't come up. This time the chicken came out at a reasonable temperature and was very tasty with no sauce. I got to mention that you can cut the chicken with a plastic forks. Quite a feat recently in other eateries. Great place to go. Great employees and service.”

“I've heard different folks telling me this restaurant has delicious food, therefore, my husband and I wanted to try it. The buffet had Chinese and American food and it was delicious. My husband ate his share of the popcorn shrimp, whereas, I ate the pizza and Macaroni and Cheese. Service was excellent and the server kept both our beverages full, not once did we have to flag her down for refills. She even did it with a smile. The restaurant had a dark and intimate feel. It was dark, yet it wasn't dark enough to see what you're eating. I don't know about anyone else, I like to see what I'm eating. Therefore, the lighting was perfect. The price wasn't too bad, $9.29 for the dinner buffet, beverages are only $2.00. I had a coupon with Buy one, get one 1/2 off. Only $19.25 for two people, not too shabby. I have no complaints. Will eat here again.”

“Literally the BEST Mexican food I've ever had. Visiting family from Michigan and wanted some authentic tacos while we were here. Looked up tacquerias and landed on this gem. Service was phenomenal. Our waitress had our drinks as well as fresh hot tortilla chips and multiple salsas to our table within minutes. Tons of delicious options available so we took a little longer to decide. She came back 3 times to check. Our food came out within 10 minutes, probably less because 3 of us hadn't finished the basket of chips yet. All orders were fresh and extremely flavorful! My daughter is picky and they made her order properly with no issues. This rarely happens. We ended up taking a bunch back to the hotel with us because there was so much leftover. Service ✔ Quality ✔ Quantity ✔ Looking forward to my next trip to Charleston!”

When I got home with my Wings and Things order, I found out that they left off the Texas Toast. It was not worth the effort to even call the restaurant to let them know. “If you're not from the Charleston area, Ye Ole Fashioned in a local staple. If you are from the area, you already know Ye Ole, and probably already love it. The salads are massive, and a large could feed at least 2-3 people. Their sandwiches are awesome. I generally prefer the Reuben, but the BLT has a tremendous helping of bacon, too. Or the bacon cheeseburger, which is one of the best you can find. They have a great assortment of ice cream flavors, and the banana split is massive. I highly recommend.”

Being able to cook your own food is great and fun to do with a group as it brings everyone together and encourages teamwork. The food is awesome and tasty and is some of the best food in the Charleston area. The service is great and everyone goes out of their way to make sure everyone is well taken care of and that everyone has a great meal. “Several times, I have left the other Burger King nearest to me, on Ashley Phosphate (which is the worst Burger King in Charleston, see reviews) to get my food from this store. They ALWAYS have a pleasant, efficient staff. I have never had them get my order wrong and the food is always exactly what I was expecting. My time in the drive thru is super quick. “Fantastic food. Large delicious portions on Gyros. The salads and hummus displayed look beautiful and fresh. Friendly staff. My only complaint is the lids are too cheap and don't secure well on the cups which is a major issue when you have children. I love sea turtles, but not enough to drink from a paper straw...it is like eating cardboard (YUCK), and like I said, when you have a kid you must have a lid and straw for your beverage!”
