“We were driving down Middle Street last night by Sullivan's Fish Camp around 6:30pm and a parking spot magically opened up a few feet away from Fish Camp. I said to my friend this is a sign! We immediately parked walked up to the hostess at Fish Camp and told her what happened. No reservation the hostess said to us? No problem! The bar is open for walk-ins! There were two perfect seats at the middle of the bar waiting for us and our adventure with the Fish Camp was just beginning. Head bartender Kelly was awesome. She crafted the best martinis we ever had with the delicious fish dip with chips and a variety of mixed sweet and hot peppers on the side. Followed by Heirloom Tomatoes, the largest succulent red yellow and green Tomatoes slices topped with a special sauce and finished the evening with the Fish Camp Sandwich, which melted in your mouth over the top gourmet food washed down with a second round of martinis. Thank you Kelly for making the whole evening for us. I highly recommend Sullivan's Fish Camp for great food Sullivan's Island relaxed elegant ambiance and over the top service from Kelly.”

When they aren’t too busy the waitresses take their time rather than approaching the table frequently. So anticipate taking a little longer to get your order in.”

“I've been visiting Charleston pretty regularly for the better part of the past 20 years (visiting friends and family that live in the area), and Poe's is one of the places I've gone back to time and again. The food is always amazing, and there's just something about the vibe and feel of the place that's really inviting. Burgers and fries are definitely the stars at Poe's, though I've been told that the fish tacos are really good also. I don't get to come here that often, so I just haven't been able to veer away from the burgers. Most recently, I had the burger topped with buffalo fried shrimp, and it was fantastic. My wife had the burger topped with a crab cake, which was also incredible. If you come on a weekend or during popular vacation times, expect to wait a bit, though I don't think we've ever waited more than 20-30 minutes. Parking on Sullivan's Island can also be a bit hectic, so be sure to bring plenty of patience if you're driving. In the end, you'll be sure to leave happy and full.”

“Home Team BBQ is our new favorite spot on Sullivan Island and any time we are close to Charleston or Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. Jacob was a great server--personable, knowledgeable and relatable. We recommend him when you visit. The pulled pork BBQ burrito is a hit. Whoever came up with it deserves ????????????????????????. We plan on returning every time we return to Sullivan's Island. Hopefully, Jacob will still be there.”

“I love the food here! They actually have a brunch menu! Who knew? The bartenders were nice and made great recommendations. The only thing I would have liked was for my glass to be filled a little more often, but they were quite busy, so that's a normal casualty. Still, five stars!!”

“We tripped across this restaurant on an outing. What a great find!! Delicious well seasoned food. We both had combos with fried oysters, broiled flounder, french fries, and creamy grits. The collard greens were the best I've had at a restaurant. Chelsi was a very good waitress. She was patient with my questions and made wonderful suggestions. The key lime pie was a tasty end to a good meal. We will definitely be back on our next visit.”
