Daddy Joe's Beach House BBQ and Grill

Omg! The food and service was amazing! The food was out of this world and the pricing was appropriate based on how huge our plates were. The environment was top notch with all the displays that make you feel you are on a true beach vacation.

Server was very nice and "home town" courteous. Pork was good but not great. Hush puppies were outstanding. Daddy Joe's offers a fairly 'regular' BBQ experience - what you'd expect from a casual place named Daddy Joe's. Only complaint was that it took a VERY long time for our food to be served. One person in our party ordered a salad, so maybe that delayed the main-course ticket. But everything they served us was prepared in advance, not cooked to order (Q, slaw, Hush Puppies, beans, fries, etc). They could have turned us much faster. Having said all of that, I really like a dependable BBQ joint when I'm traveling I-85, so I'll be back; I'll just micro-manage the order submission and food delivery better.

Daddy Joe's has the best BBQ around. Our residents and staff at our Nursing Facility are constantly asking for more. I love that we can take our therapy dogs there for lunch on the patio as well. The atmosphere allows you to feel like you have gotten away on a mini-vaca. Go check them out! You won't regret it.

Good BBQ, I've never had a bad experience here. Do they always get it right, no. Do they always make it right, yes. Portions are more than you should eat but it's good and you keep eating. Our last visit was a bit off but I will continue to go back and I would recommend anyone in to BBQ give it a try. My version of good BBQ is not yours, it's all in the taste you prefer just like any other food. I give it a strong 3 stars. If you are in the area, stop in. Four stars if decor is updated, wifi brought into future, and daily special added to menu.

The food here is REALLY good. The atmosphere is very friendly and comfortable. The server's are just as polite and nice. We only go here for special occasions because they are a little pricy. We do enjoy the food, it's absolutely fantastic. I have recommended this restaurant to family and friend's.
