When popeye's is on their game, they are among the best fried chicken places around. They simply need to be aware that they have a ton of competition, and people are willing to go elsewhere. They went out of their way to make sure our dine in experience was great by offering refreshments at our table. “This has been my "go to" restaurant since I started commuting from NC to GA to see my folks. This store is so great. They are speedy and really friendly. Always giving the best in customer service. I've seen them busy and I've seen them on the slow days and they really are a great group of folks working there. The food is on point with how this restaurant wants its food to come out to customers. They slice the meats perfectly. I recommend this place to anyone just passing through.”

Tonight's faux pas, I ordered a BLT the bacon was burnt and I mean really burnt. But other than that it was pretty good. And not much flavor. Not here. I usually order a double side of bacon crisp. No matter what your main meal is it's worth it to get the bacon on the side so go for it.”

“Great country food. I got the four vegetables and I couldn't finish it all. They were not stingy with them at all. Price was fair and the workers were nice. I was supposed to get a Dr. Pepper, and was given a tea instead, but they were very busy. Usually when a place is that busy and you still see cars piling in there its for a good reason...5 stars all day.”
