“New pizza joint in the old Sgt Peppers location next to Whaley's (old place was terrible food and worse service). Service was excellent, everything was ready on time and correct. The pizza was amazing. I think just the regular cheese pizza was my favorite. Ate here twice this week. The big basil pizza was great as well. Staff was super friendly. Hope they become a fixture for future visits!”

“Ordered the My Guy meat lovers pizza. $22 and a little bit of a wait, but one of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten! They had a pier overlooking the Ocean so made the wait totally fine. Friendly staff. Highly recommend!”

“This is the EZ shop in the curve on Palmetto Blvd in front of BiLo. They stay open late, everyone is always nice there. Also there's a Subway located in the store and seating to eat there. The locals eat-in quite often as well as carry out. This store is quite popular with tourists also.”

“Fresh local delicious seafood. Place was super busy but it's easy to see why. The food was yummy and the place had a great casual atmosphere about it. We bought the seafood platter for two and it was more than enough food for the two of us. Everything was fresh and hot. May seem pricey to some but when it's this good its worth it. Will definitely come back.”

“If you would love a date night, and to put on something other than shorts and a bathing suit, also a place more upscale, than this is the place to go. It is pretty pricey and the portions are small compared to other restaurants on Edisto but the food is good, not excellent. The service was very good. This was our last dinner stop during our vacation week on Edisto. We may try it again when returning for vacation just for the ambiance of the place and a date night. I ordered their special which was quail. It came deep fried which I hadn't realized. I wouldn't get it again. My husband ordered the shrimp cocktail, very good and the scallops of which there was a small amount compared to The Waterfront Restaurant also $10 more than them. My husband said they were good but not as good as he had "other places". I will post pics of our meals.”

“Service at the bar was good. Never got knife or fork when we ordered burgers with mayo on the side. Burgers were a little greasy but yet full of flavor. Didn't think prices were as bad as some said. Two burgers , one with cheese and bacon, bottle of beer and a mixed drink were under $35. Great ocean view.”

“What a great addition to Edisto Island! We were super excited to try this new restaurant that opened up. The food was fantastic! Fresh ingredients and loaded with flavor. We had the shrimp tacos, steak breakfast burrito, surf and turf burrito and a side of guacamole. The owners were there and very friendly.”

“First things first: I am a Christian so I am obliged to tell you that there is nothing greater than knowing Jesus and living with Him in the new heavens and new earth. Trust Him now while there is still time. Now, as far as Common Grace is concerned, there is no pizza on earth like La Retta’s. I am not given to hyperbole. And I don’t order prepared food on Edisto Island as a matter of course. In our seven years of coming here we have always cooked. But tonight our 14 year old convinced us to order pizza. I just increased his college fund. He is the most faithful among our six children (today). I have traveled extensively and had pizza from NYC to chain restaurants to frozen to SC public school and everything in between. There is no pizza like La Retta’s. In heaven, if we have pizza, it will be delicious and better that La Retta’s, but just a little.”

“The best place to eat. Right behind Bilo's on jungle road. The food was great, the atmosphere is very hip, island motif, just a cool and relaxing place. Portions and price just right. The best on the island. I highly recommend this place. Staff was friendly, please note, this place can get crowed real fast. Most places for lunch don't open till 11 am. Go and enjoy. Perfect.”
