“My husband and I was here on an appointment and some recommended this restaurant. Since my husband and I love ox tails we decided to give it a try. The food excellent. We had lemon pepper wings which were cooked great and the oxtail with rice and beans, collard greens, and mac cheese. We will definitely be coming back when we are Charleston.”

“Daughter brought us to Gennaro's for pizza during a recent visit.. What a treat! The pizza dough and sauce are made in house and delicious. The menu offers a nice selection of specialty pizza's as well as toppings in addition to a very nice selection of other dishes. We ordered a bottle of their brand special house wine to accompany our pie, and it too was enjoyable. Had the opportunity to meet one of the owners as we were seated and felt very welcomed. Server was extremely attentive throughout our meal. Definitely on our return list during our next visit to the area.”

Nothing that I would rave over honestly. And the waitress billed us for 2 things that another table order :/ but other than that, the place was good. “Received really, really helpful customer support and service at Domino’s in North Charleston today. The store was very, very severely understaffed as there was only one person running the whole restaurant. Nonetheless, she was very friendly and made my pizza and served it with in less than 10 minutes. I only regret that I did not get her name. Personally, I think she deserves a raise for a great attitude and responsibility for keeping the entire restaurant open and moving”

“Impressed with the eat in restaurant food (I had a wrap and it came with a side and tea or lemonade), but the meal plan is pretty much a rip off. I barely weigh over 100 lbs and it doesn't fill me up, not to mention for a "healthy" establishment most of the "meals" (what I would really consider more like snacks) are sorely lacking in vegetables. A few of the entrees taste fabulous (like the small portion of sweet potato nachos) but the majority are bland and you could get something equivalently healthy and similar size and possibly even tastier in a frozen dinner. For roughly $8 a serving (actual price depends on how many you order) I am not pleased. It was also pretty off putting that when you get the meal plan they do not put labels on the food to tell you what it is/nutrients/calories and the service in general is pretty unfriendly and kind of lazy each time I've gone in. Most establishments that see a mom struggling to carry her baby and her order would offer to help, but not this place.”

“Can't speak for delivery but ordering on Chownow for pick up works without a hitch. Now whatever Chinese/Japanese takeout spot you've been ordering from previously stop and start getting your food from here. I've ordered twice now and so far the food is consistent with taste and quality. The Chinese tastes fresher, and flavorful compared to the other takeout spots. Seriously try this place out and it'll surprise you just how better the Chinese food is. Now on to the Japanese Hibachi. Tsunami's is just down the road and while I won't go as far as saying this place is better but for a takeout spot it comes very close. Hibachi taste fresh and the portions are big and the sushi is on the same level. They even give you a lot of white sauce unlike other takeout places that only give you one of those small little sauce containers that of course is never enough. If the quality remains the same this will continue to be my go to neighborhood Chinese/Japanese spot.”

“Great lunch specials. This is not fine dining but they do a good job on bar food. For example the Cesar salad has. Pre-made croutons, dressed on the heavy side with not home made dressing. But tasty! We prefer a very thin pizza, and Steel City never ceases to honor that request. My Chicken Farm salad has always been enjoyed. Ask for well done fries and you get them. Staff is efficient, not particularly friendly but nice.”
