During a recent journey home, my wife and I had the pleasure of discovering Nannie's Kitchen in St. George, SC, and what an exceptional find it was! As first-time customers, we were immediately made to feel right at home, thanks in large part to the owner, Shane, whose warmth, and hospitality were second to none.
The food was nothing short of wonderful, offering a wide variety of options that catered to every palate. The baked goods, all homemade, looked amazing.
What made our experience even more special was learning that Nannie's Kitchen is veteran-owned. It's heartwarming to see the establishment not only thriving but also supporting other veteran-owned businesses, including a local coffee company that supplies their delicious brews.
Nannie's Kitchen is more than just a place to eat; it's a destination that offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere, exceptional food, and a commitment to supporting the veteran community. Thank you, Shane, and everyone at Nannie's Kitchen, for making our travel home so memorable. We can't wait to return and indulge in your amazing offerings once again!
The food was great. Atmosphere is great. The people are super nice and I love the small town. Everybody knows everybody type thing but when you have people in line you shouldn't sit there and have a 15 minute 20 minute conversation with the person at the register about what's going on in you're life other than that I have no complaints. I will be returning there. The food was like I said great it was and the prices were awesome I highly recommend the check this place out
I thought I have received great customer service before, but coming to this fabulous restaurant has been ONE OF MY BEST EXPERIENCES ‼️‼️‼️Not only is the food absolutely wonderful, Ms. Katie and Ms. Athena have been nothing less than FANTASTIC!!! You can tell it's just in their spirit to treat people with kindness and they genuinely want you to enjoy your meal in the most pleasant atmosphere. You can tell the food is made with love and pure happiness. This makes the food taste immaculate!! She even created for me a special latte. 🥰😁😍 I'm looking forward to Tuesday to see what I can try next. 😁 This is definitely my little secret that I just can't keep to myself!! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Jumped off I95 for a quick lunch. Wanted a local place to support their business. So glad we found this little gem. Roast beef dip and pulled pork sandwich were tasty. Topped it off with homemade sea salt caramels and a chocolate chip cookie. Friendly and prompt service.
Attending a training course for the new job at the Dorchester County Council building and decided to try this place for lunch and was an amazing choice it was. Had the chicken salad on a croissant but was torn between it and the fried bologna sandwich.. so much on the menu will definitely be back to sample all the choices. Love the decor, the friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and the fabulous homemade cooking... Even has ice cream to boot!
