We arrived late on Monday and were greeted in a friendly manner. Between us we had shrimp with rice & gravy, shrimp & crabcake dinner, collards, cornbread, fried okra and barbecue baked beans. Food was piping hot and absolutely delicious. We both left stuffed and happy. We have a new restaurant on our rotation. Thanks so much for a great meal!

Small quite place but really good food! I had the crab cake and red rice and my husband had the shrimp and grits. Best crab cake I've had so far. Very friendly staff, very clean, good spot for take out too. Will visit again.
Great place to eat. Good size portions. The staff was very friendly. The food was out quickly. The food was seasoned really well. Two thumbs up!!
I’m neutral with this. Their customer service is really good but the shrimp and grits I have some issues with. See I’m traveling and leaving back to Ohio tonight and visiting my hometown. So I wanted to have my favorite dish of shrimp and grits before leaving on the long drive where I might have to be in snow again because it was like that when I left. The first thing I noticed was brown gravy. I never had brown gravy for this dish but it can be used so okay. So I get home and dig in and the grits is super dry. There’s also an abundance of veggies. So I just ended up eating mainly the shrimp. I’m displeased with the dish but the guys were so nice. They have southern charm which up north they so don’t. I’m sure their other dishes rock but this dish here I am not feeling it.
This is a no frills restaurant with great food. We had the fried chicken and fish and shrimp combos with red rice, Mac and cheese, collard greens and Lima beans. It was very close to the food my grandmother and mother use to make. For this Charleston girl it is a great find. Highly recommend if you want southern/soul food.
