Villa Cantina

This place is fairly new. The food was excellent with large portions and what we had was really tasty. If you like Mexican ? This is a must try place.

My husband and I stopped here for dinner after a day of errands. The service was phenomenal, the atmosphere was absolutely perfect. The food was out of this world!!!
The prices are very reasonable for the huge portions that you receive. We both had a cocktail that was delicious (tequila sunrise and purple gecko). I believe we found our "go-to" spot. I am already looking forward to returning to try something new.

This is probably the best Mexican restaurant I've visited in Charleston so far.

The place was decently busy, but we didn't have to wait to be seated. The tables were nice and clean, and we were brought fresh chips and salsa soon after sitting at the table.

The menu is ready to navigate, as it is divided by specials, and then choice of protein. They offer a wide variety of (in my opinion at least) very authentic Mexican dishes. I thought I was going to miss out on good Mexican food after moving here from Vegas, but this place delivers.

I had a combo plate which included a quesadilla and a burrito, as well as a side of beans. For an upcharge, I opted to have lengua with my quesadilla, and it was definitely worth it.

They also have a decent drink menu, and I had their "Purple Gecko". It was really delicious, and not too heavy on the alcohol.

I will definitely be coming back to this place.

We came here for Sunday dinner and it was a great experience. The ambiance was comfortable. There are TVs visible from all seats. We ordered the Arroz con Mariscos, Carne Asada, Chicken soup, beef burrito wrap, kids chicken tenders with fries, elote (street corn) and a beef taco salad. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent! I got a large margarita on the rocks. Happy hour is everyday 4p-8p. We’ll definitely come back again. Also, there is outdoor dining available. They also offer a military discount! ❤️❤️❤️

Had a wonderful experience here. The staff and food are very good….my guest had a special request and the kitchen had no problem. I would definitely recommend this place. A great value for the money. Will be back!
