Yokoso Japanese Steakhouse Summerville

last night (06`28`19) I was waiting for a table, very busy for a Friday night, only 45 min wait, not bad. Went to the bar for a margarita, Taylor and Melissa made it awesome, best in Summerville. Then got to my table and Kelly was our waitress, very attentive! Very happy with our experience all around. Really Love Yokoso! Thank you.

Was in there a few weeks ago, meant to leave a review. Food was quick and absolutely excellent. Best Japanese food around. Our server was Taylor, best service I've had in a long time. 100% will be back and would definitely wait to be seated, especially in Taylor's section. Keep up the good work!

Some of the best hibachi I've had. All the chefs I've had have been nice and entertaining and accommodating if you want certain ingredients withheld from your order. I also absolutely the ginger sauce they use on their salads, I wish the store bought ginger tasted like that.

Went for a family get together with 14 people. Had reservations and we were seated about 10 minutes past our reservation time which is pretty good. We were seated, order was taken, salads and soup was delivered and the show began! Very organized and the chef was great. He had a continual banter going with everyone at the table, he was very enjoyable. He was the "white cracker" but was very good with his knife skills as well as his cooking skills. Food was delicious, hot, and abundant. Very good fun, we all had a great time. Definitely would go again.

We only had sushi this night, but I've recently been for lunch & had hibachi (still seated in the sushi bar).

For a busy Friday night, the sushi came very quickly! It was not hastily prepared, though. It was impeccable. Attn other restaurants: Quick doesn't have to mean sloppy. Our server was attentive & friendly. The sushi was delicious. When I had the hibachi at lunch, previously, it was delicious. Not dry or overcooked. Server that trip was also great.

My only complaints are maintenance items:

1. The table was tacky/sticky like the finish is deteriorating NOT like it wasn't clean (closest banquet to sushi bar, on far side).

2. The bathroom floor was REALLY slippery, even in non-slip shoes. Everyone in the bathroom was commenting on it.
