Barn Express

Being raised on southern cooking, I was glad that I was invited to have lunch at the Barn Express. The mac and cheese, the mashed potatoes and gravy, the fried chicken and even the pork chops were very delicious. I regret that I did not try the banana pudding as I was trying my best not to over eat! There was a server who would come around and take up your empty plates which was a very nice service! I heard many folks stating that the fried fish is the best as well as the hash.

I use to work here and believe me when I say it's the best food in town. Great prices, friendly staff, and southern comfort. Come see us anytime!

Food was good. They catered a buffet meal for our work Christmas social. Spacious seating and plenty of food to eat.

Don't let the storefront fool you. This buffet although small and not as fancy as some you might have visited has some of the best southern cooking I've ever had. I've been there several times and have never been disappointed. They have a small salad bar, deserts and really good sweat tea. Parking can be a little tricky at lunch hour so go a little early or a little later. Small town restaurant. Reasonable price. 5 stars for Barnes Express.
