    There's no place like "The Skillet ". It's THE restaurant to go to when you want a good old down home meal. The prices are reasonable and the service is always great. It feels like family.

    We stopped in for the evening. The restaurant was clean and quiet. We ordered the sirloin steak dinners. Everything was fresh and orderly on the salad bar. The soup pots were full. The waitresses were very nice and acknowledged our presence quickly, kept our drinks filled, and always ready to help. The steaks were hot, and cooked nicely. Smelled fantastic, tasted even better. After a day of driving, and crazy drivers on the road to contend with, having a nice place to sit and have a quiet dinner is all one can ask for.

    Really surprised at how clean the restaurant and overall the whole truck stop is. Food was pretty decent for the breakfast buffet. Servers were really nice and accommodating. Eggs and toast made to order if your not into the scrambled on the line.

    This is my favorite of truck stop restaurants. The service is always friendly at this location. The restaurant is always clean, the food is hot and fresh a d there is always a good selection. The salad bar is always fresh with alot of selections on that as well. I love their cream of potato soup!
