Drunken Jack's Restaurant & Lounge

A must visit every time we visit Myrtle Beach. Worth the drive to Murrells Inlet. Wonderful seafood--salad bar a great perk. I always get the creek shrimp which are lightly breaded for fried food. My husband's broiled scallops were among the best I've ever had. Right on the Snug Harbor creek walk with an incredible view of the inlet and the goats on Goat Island. My mother enjoyed a mixed plate of fried favorites. We'll be back.

Parents recommended this place - they visit several times each visit. Food was really good and would recommend. The back area is a cool area but only offers their bar menu. We would have liked to sit and listen to the live music while having access to the full menu.

Love this place. Get you in and out quickly. Great atmosphere with view of inlet. One of last restaurants to have a full salad bar. Great options on menu. Awesome food. Hurry up with salad or soup cause food comes fast. After you can walk the boardwalk on the waterway. Definitely top 5 place to go on grand strand

After looking at reviews in the area, we chose Drunken Jacks.
We would not go back until we tried other establishments first.
In my opinion the food is over priced for the quality.
We arrived at 4 and were seated immediately, as we were leaving @ 5:30 people had an 1 & 1/2 hour wait, plan ahead.

The salad bar was the same as an average all you can eat buffet.
Advertised “jumbo wings” were regular sized wings and over cooked, poor quality and over priced...
Chicken fingers were obviously frozen prepared, and again over priced.
Server was very good but did not know what a jumbo wing size is supposed to be, not his fault, management needs to advertise properly and train their staff.
Calamari and fried scallops were decent.
Bottom line, if you are going to charge 5 star prices please serve 5 star food.

We were seated faster than we were promised. The lounge is a great area to wait for seating whole having a drink. Margarita was delicious! Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Had the chefs special which was salmon stuffed with crab and lobster over veggies. It was amazing. Huge portion. Love the salad bar as well. All in all a great time!
