This is the EXACT kind of local eats you are looking for. It’s the perfect dive restaurant with some of the best fried chicken we’ve ever had. The buffet is small but plentiful with options besides the fried chicken like: pulled pork, black eyed peas, baked mac n cheese, collards, sweet potato casserole, sausage and rice, and lots of other stuff. We have been coming here for more than 10 years and we make it our first restaurant stop every time. Don’t be deterred by the appearance! It’s well worth the visit!

What they lack in ambiance they make up for in tasty fried chicken and price.

This little off the wall and out of the way place was quite the surprise. The shrimp was terrific and perfectly cooked. As well the fried chicken was a surprise. Crispy, tender, and moist. Loved it. We will most definitely return.

Delicious home style food on buffet. All you can shrimp is a must but the best is the chicken of all!!???? Colonel Sanders doesn't exist after that! Recommended for a great priced buffet. Glad we skipped away from the franchises around Myrtle Beach to enjoy the atmosphere of not feeling like a tourist

This is a MUST place to dine if you’re anywhere near Pawleys Island!! For $8.15 per person, you get all you can eat BBQ and Southern side dishes! The side dishes are amongst the BEST we’ve had on this trip. The fried chicken is THE BEST. It is perfectly crisp and melts in your mouth. The pulled pork is tender and full of flavor! Each side dish tastes as if it was made with lots of Southern love. There also a salad bar if you’re trying to be healthy. I’m not a huge dessert fan but I made a concerted effort to sample both puddings (chocolate and banana). I had another piece of fried chicken for my actual dessert!!
