Local Eat Drink Celebrate

ammmmaaaazzzzzinnnggg!!! every employee was so engaged and helpful. our server Edgar was delightful. the food was stellar, I had a biscuit benny with the crab cake. literally all lump crab and the best I've had in forever. the drinks were inventive and so dang good! it was an 11 out of 10 experience. i will be back...like a lot!

My husband and I discovered this wonderful restaurant on our last night in town. We wish it had been our first! The food was delicious! We enjoyed the boiled peanuts appetizer and the cornbread is a must! We shared the duck confit dinner and it was fabulous. Peanut butter pie was light and wonderful. We plan to make this one of our regular places when we come back to town. I’m looking forward to trying their lunch & brunch items. The service was great and we enjoyed talking to the owners. Try them out, you won’t be disappointed!

Local is one of my new favorite places. I have eaten there twice and been several times to take advantage of the happy hour prices on drinks.

On my first visit I had the Chicken and Waffle and it was absolutely amazing! The fried chicken breast nuggets were so tender and juicy and the New South white waffle was delicious. One of my favorite things on the menu is the Nawlins Style Frozen Coffee this is a must try for sure! On my second visit I had the Hot Chicken Sandwich it was so good, the peri peri sauce on it has just the right amount of heat and so tender and juicy and I definitely recommend their homemade chips! Can't wait to try the rest of the menu!

Wow, food was excellent, owners are so kind, the chef is a genius, and the service is wonderful! This is such a great place to have anywhere from a casual happy hour with the girls to a nice dinner for an anniversary. They do it all! We got the crab cakes (best crab cake in the state, I swear), cornbread, duck tacos, and the cute melt! 4 dollar wine during happy hour and 3 dollar new south beers. We can’t wait to come back to try the brunch.

Amazing food! We started with the truffle salt popcorn and it was incredible! As the other dishes arrived, we found they were fabulous as well. The oysters on the oyster sandwich were cooked perfectly. Many interesting dishes will keep us coming back to try. Great selection of local beer on tap and some delicious, unique cocktails. The owners are great people that contribute immensely to the community. Felt very safe as tables were socially-distanced and the servers were all masked and efficient. I can't wait to go down for brunch - hopefully soon!!!
