Let me just say that Ed is SO NICE, unfortunately we didn’t get the opportunity to meet his wife, Kim, but his daughter, Sarah, was in there helping out! Every person inside the building, customer and employee alike, we’re just so warm and welcoming and friendly! The food was great, coffee was fresh, and we will absolutely be going back for breakfast soon!
Took me back to the days of Woolworths with a restaurant inside a store. Staff was short handed but did a great job of keeping up with the lunchtime rush. My son and I both enjoyed the cheesesteak sub. Lots of locals coming in for food and obviously had great relationship with the staff. Great lunch stop if you are in Greer!
Best hidden gem in downtown Greer. At first we weren't sure that we were at the right place, it is nestled in with other unique shops around it. We almost left, but super glad we did some further investigation. This family owned restaurant will leave you feeling delightfully satisfied and eager to try their other dishes. I have never liked grits but decided to get them anyway to give the baby, however I didn't want to share, I absolutely loved them!! As any other parent knows having a toddler going out to eat can be a drooling experience, they were absolutely fabulous, they immediately took the babies order first which allowed us to enjoy our time there without a fussing baby. They are so welcoming and down to earth by the time we left we felt like part of the "Cafe On Trade Family".
I was going to take a photo of my sandwich, but it was so good that I forgot to stop eating!
Seriously though, this place is wonderful and the owners are so kind. Every time we come, the food is amazing.
Was a little skeptical, especially with various restaurants in the Greenville area boasting to be authentic NY style, but this place is way different!
We had the "Now Thats Italian" as well as "All American".
Both were of generous portions, and one thing that set it aside was the shredded lettuce, something not too often seen in the south for hoagies.
I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quick bite, or a place to relax a little and unwind!
Thank you for your hospitality!
