The positives: The Rigatoni Bolognese was delicious. The sauce was hearty and complex, with large chunks of sausage and meat.
The salad was fresh and tasty. The drinks were a good value. But....
There were things that weren't awesome: The lasagna, while tasty, was only Luke warm. It kind of took away from the taste.
The bread is expensive. Not only do you not get free bread like at any other Italian restaurant in the area, the bread you buy is $4.00 for 3 skinny slices, although it does come with olive oil and herbs for dipping.
Also, we had trouble getting our bill and paying. In fairness, they were slammed. Maybe the service will improve with time.
Am I in a hurry to go back...? Not really.
Very cozy, this little restaurant was a nice surprise! I visited with a friend and enjoyed both the wine menu and the appetizers. When we decided to order dinner, I was thrilled that the seafood and pasta dish I ordered had plenty of shellfish in it! Being from the coast, good seafood is a must for me! I recommend stopping by if you've been craving Italian!
Phenomenal food options. Homemade pasta, couldn’t ask for a more unique and intimate atmosphere. The octopus small plate was prepared perfectly and highly suggest giving it a taste. Finished the night with sweet wine and cheesecake that was to die for. Mariah took great care of us.
We had the crabmeat ravioli and the braised short rib ravioli. It was PHENOMENAL. I’ve never liked goat cheese, but the goat cheese on the short rib ravioli had me wanting it with every bite! I can’t believe Chef Hector found a way for me to like goat cheese, and I’m super grateful for it. The environment is cozy yet classy, and they have a fantastic selection of wine. You won’t be disappointed!
Had a great experience at this classy and elegant space for dinner tonight. Extensive wine list, classic desserts and original entrees! I tried the lobster shrimp pasta but can’t wait to try the lasagna and some other traditional Italian favorites next time. I also had the burrata with fig sauce and it was an excellent appetizer. Highly recommend for a nice date night!
