Mexico City California Style

I haven't eaten here (yet), so ignore the star rating. I just wanted to comment that it would be nice to see vegetarian protein options. Some of the best tacos I've had to date were from Not Not Tacos in San Diego. They had a tofu taco that was killer enough that I'm still craving it.

This was our first visit, and we were pleasantly surprised. We were greeted warmly, and the service was very good. The food came out pretty fast, and it was delicious. I ordered the cali enchiladas, and my wife had the taco salad. We felt the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be back.

The wait staff was friendly and courteous. The food was tasty and the flavors were above what was expected. It wasn’t overly crowded and the noise level was perfect. Not loud and not silent. Background music level for a Friday night date was perfect!

Place is very cool. The restaurant was pretty new aged despite it being an old SC Diner. The food was out in a timely manner, it was cooked great. Food wasn't microwaved like most Mexican restaurants. Drinks were all ice cold and served quickly. Chips were nice. Salsa had a few too many onions and garlic for my taste, BUT! It was fresh, or so it tasted. Will definitely eat here again.

We were greeted with a big smile with menus and silverware in hand. We were quickly seated. Chips and salsa were placed on the table. The salsa had a great taste. Our meals were delivered in a timely manner. The meat in the taco and burrito was okay, some what bland. The rice and beans were okay too, they just need to be "kicked up" a little bit. The inside was clean and neat. There is also out door seating space that very nice. They are just getting started and We will go back and try them again at a later date.
