“The food, as always, was wonderful! Their fried chicken is crispy but not greasy--probably about the best in town. An addition to the buffet was meatloaf which was great and mashed potatoes. I passed on the potatoes for the mac and cheese which can't be beat. Ribs, hush puppies, and okra were all big hits with our group right along with the cobbler and chocolate pudding. Oh, and I passed by the sweet potato souffle tonight, but our family from Florida always heads for that first!”

“Found this place online. I am planning a 90th birthday party for my grandma and she loves traditional southern food so before I ordered food from here, I wanted her to try it. She absolutely loved it. She was so thrilled. The food was beyond excellent. She had the ham, dressing, green beans and sweet potato souffle. I had the chicken tenders, creamed corn, dressing, new potatoes and mac and cheese. My daughter had the cubed steak and creamed potatoes and rolls. Everything was excellent. The cubed steak is so tender. The dressing is creamy and doesn't have a strong onion taste like most. The mac and cheese was creamy not hard. The rolls were fantastic. We inquired about catering and the price was reasonable too. Definitely worth it for good food.”

“What can I say? I'd give it 5 stars but it's not the really high quality pizza I grew up loving from the "Mom & Pop" shops in the NY metro area. Their cheese is the part skim stuff as opposed to the shorter shelf life of the whole milk variety. The thing that stands out with me is you know what you're getting with Papa John's. They're reliable and a good value.”
