“Definitely had an amazing experience. I really wanted to try a maple bacon donut because I had never had one before, and I would give theirs a 9/10 it was sooo freaking good. It would’ve been 10/10 if it was hot but I can heat it up at home. They had actually ran out to them prior to me getting there, but a very kind soul decided to make one for me 🫶🏾 I also got a bacon sausage egg and cheese croissant, definitely 10/10. For sure a must try!”

“I have stopped here a handful of times because it's on my way to work for gas or cigarettes. However I had a late lunch today and was in a hurry and needed to eat. And I was so over fast food in the area. So I gave the restaurant there a go. I usually take photos of my food. However I ate that cheeseburger so fast it was the best cheeseburger I've ever eat probably! Delicious! And a sweet little lady working the counter was amazing as well!”

“Best Mexican restaurant in Mauldin! Authentic, delicious and well priced. The portion sizes are huge. The service is fast and friendly. They start you out with complimentary chips, a fresh salsa bar and a warm bean dip. The chips were amazing, freshly made and still warm with just the right amount of salt. I ordered the Shrimp enchilada with beans and rice and it was fantastic and more than I could eat. Highly recommend!”

“Prepare for a food coma! This place has the best over the top biscuits in the greater Greenville area. I love specialty biscuit shops and have been to most, if not all, for brunch or breakfast. Maverick Biscuit has the best jams, butter flavors,and ice coffee. The biscuits are huge and fluffy. You will not be able to finish it all. I had the biscuit with breaded, fried chicken (it comes with a white meat breast), fried goat cheese, a yummy jam, and the biscuit is topped with an egg of your choice. This is one of their popular biscuits, but I can't remember the name. Check out the pictures or show it to the server if you're interested. I highly recommend this restaurant. We were walking at Conestee trail, then stopped by Maverick Biscuit for Brunch. It was the perfect way to end the morning walk. It's not a fancy place, but it was very clean. The staff is also extremely friendly. I can't wait to stop by again in the future.”

“My family and I journeyed to Mauldin to see the new location and it was worth the trip. I walked in the door with my four year old and the first thing she said was “it smells delicious in here”. I was pleasantly surprised with the seating options available inside. The building seems rather small from the outside but there’s still plenty of room to dine in. Bar height and traditional table seating options which I appreciate being a family of four. Restrooms are well kept and stocked which is always important. We took ours to go this time for the sake of my five month old son who isn’t feeling his best. The staff were all super friendly. Despite being busy at the time, they kept smiling and offering great customer service. My husband and I both got the giant and a regular for my little girl. As you can see I don’t have a sandwich pic, that’s because they didn’t last long. I can definitely say this location is worth the revisit. We live in Fountain Inn but I received an invitation to try this location by Jed and unfortunately didn’t get to see him this visit but maybe next time.”

“We use to have a Burger King just down the road afew years ago. New location in the area. Difficult to get to during busy traffic times Went by around 8 on a Saturday evening, lights were off in the lobby. Seemed like they were about to shut down. Lady at the counter was nice. One employee kept going outside to smoke (didn’t wash his hands when he came in) Lobby/drink station was alittle dirty. Food was good. Good value.”

“I have used Gretchen’s since my daughters first birthday in 1997 and every year after that with the exception of one year I made the cake myself. Although I did a pretty good job I was told by my husband I’m not to do it again because of all the screaming and things I was throwing! They also made her wedding cake. “Some of the best wings in Greenville. The wings are large and we ordered the traditional which is their house BBQ sauce which is sweet and tangy. The brisket was well smoked and seasoned. The mac and cheese was okay but the collards were great. The one thing you will notice from this BBQ restaurant is that smoke flavor is upfront which is pleasing compared to other places in Greenville which doesn't provide that essence. We ordered food to go and waited inside. The wait time is what made this review knock down a star. I expect to wait but took almost 30 minutes with others waiting also.”

“I visited this location for the first time this past Weds. The location has a very nice looking bar, the seating area is decent, and out door seating area is nice if you enjoy outdoor dinning. I really like the menu. It doesn't 300 plus different combinations like most Mexican restaurants do. Yes, the prices are a little higher then neighboring Mexican restaurants, but the taste and quality of food is makes up for it. The lunch menu that is valid until 3PM is very reasonably priced for those lunch hunters. My fiancé is very picky on how her chicken is cooked. This place hit the nail on the head. Perfectly cooked. “This place has never disappointed us! This is our top spot for tacos and other authentic Mexican fare. I wish I had more pictures of their food, but their tacos are made with homemade tortillas! My personal favorites are tripa and chorizo, and of course barbacoa when they have it on the weekends! The sopes de carnitas are always a favorite and their daily specials vary in style but always hit on taste. Don’t miss out!”

“I kept reading review after review about how great this restaurant was. I also saw one place had it rested as the best pizza in SC; that's what finally drew me in to give it a try.
