Lin's Asian Cafe @ Five Forks

Awesome atmosphere and there sushi menu is huge and tastes incredible!

This cafe boldly defies all of the unsatisfactory reviews I read. I took my wife and three children there today and sampled a variety of food from sushi to hibachi. The sashimi leaves nothing to desire. The fish is fresh and prepared well. Hibachi scallops were cooked perfectly, browned lightly and the sauces we're delectable. Following the lunch special prices it averaged at just over $12 per person. Service was good, no one's drink ran dry. Bathrooms were very clean and had multiple lotions to counter the drying effect of soap on the skin. The amount of food per dollar is beaten by some others, but it is made up in flavor.

Nice atmosphere, friendly service. The sushi is not fresh; the fish is rubbery and tastes like it was previously frozen. It seems that the owners are not sure what they want to be: Chinese? Japanese? Korean? Thai? With such a varied menu, the food is inconsistent.

Food is consistent and our kids love going there. Sometimes service can be a little slow, but usually it is good. Overall a good option in the Five Forks area if you want to stick close to home.
