It was very good. Great food, and great service!

My husband and I have eaten there twice in the last 2 weeks, and I have been totally smitten by the Hawaiian burger and sweet potato fries. (If you order it, ask for extra napkins, the mango salsa is juicy!) My husband has made the California Dreaming burger his signature. As far as prices go, it is does take a bigger bite out of our pocketbook than we would like, but given the quality of the food in comparison to other similar restaurants, The Kitchen is not extreme. The one negative we got on our last trip was charged a different price for the exact same order as the week before. The first time, our order was $17, the second time, $19. Same waitress, same food, no change of menu price. However, the second time, there were people in she obviously knew, and kept a conversation going with them while my husband paid the bill, so she was distracted. Needless to say, the tip was not the same as the first time around. So, for that I have deducted a star that they otherwise would have gotten. UPDATE: Went there on 10/31 to have a late lunch and found that they have gone out of business.

We love this place! They have the best burgers, and they have changed their menu to be more economical. For the price, you get an excellent amount of food and the quality can't be beat. They are the same people who used to run the Cheeseburger House in Greenville on Augusta St, and they do a great job! Will definitely be returning often!

Tried it twice after first opened. Food good but too expensive for lunch. Multiple mistakes on food orders. Keep saying working on menu both times like this restaurant doesn't know what it wants to be. In the food business you usually get one shot at a first impression so not good idea to open till all the kinks worked out. A friend did ask me yesterday if we'd been to the Kitchen. I shared that we had. She said they really like it and that they have a lunch special of a meat and 2/3? Guess we will give it one more try cause location is super convenient to our office. Here's hoping.
