Shine Cafe

Shine Cafe is a wonderful addition to Conway’s downtown. Thoughtfully sourced salads and burgers along with other light favorites. Paintings and jewelry by local artist line the walls adding to the palpable pride that this restaurant takes in its community. Also, selfishly, I appreciate the vegetarian options on the menu. Watermelon salad was refreshing on a hot summer day.

One of the best restaurants we have eaten in. The food was excellent. The menu looks like a regular lunch but the food is at a higher standard. When they say fresh they mean it. My husband and friend said it was the best meal they had out in years. Owner and staff were super friendly and very knowledgeable about the food and area. Price was very reasonable. A review said high price. I thought the prices were more than reasonable. This restaurant is not fast food it is healthy and fresh. Please don’t change a thing.

Shine Cafe is a gem in Conway! The food is prepared fresh with locally-harvested ingredients. An extreme amount of care goes into each dish, and this is evident in the presentation and complexities of the many menu items I have already tried. The owner, Leslie Wilson, goes above and beyond to give each guest a unique experience. She even brought some toys to our table so our 2 year old could enjoy himself after eating a morning glory muffin!

I have had lunch here a few times and each time the food was excellent. I really like the atmosphere and the freshness of the food. But on Friday, I tried the chicken & waffle special. All I can say is wow! It was excellent! The flavor of the chicken, the syrup and the texture of the waffle was right on point! Kudos to this possible regular addition to the menu. It is excellent!

I am bicycling from Key West to Canada and in 12 days on the road Shine is as good as it gets. Delicious, fresh food and amazingly friendly people , including the energy and spirit of Leslie. Worth going out of your way! Cheers, danlaster@instagram
